phoenix summit challenge training day four

I had such a great Sunday morning! I really hope you did too.  I spent the first part of my day hiking, laughing hysterically and witnessing a gorgeous sunrise with one of my best friends.  There are few things that get better than this.  Here are some photos from our latest training day hiking “Dixie Peak” in Phoenix.  Another 1,000-foot-plus summit, and although it was pretty rough going up, we lucked out with a cloudy, breezy day.  And the 360 degree view from the top was AMAZING.  Which of course, made the sweat and struggle totally worth it.

To see where we’ve been so far, check out our first, second and third training days.  If you’ve been following along, you’ll recall that  I didn’t write much about the third day since it was such a struggle that I didn’t get many pictures.  But I did try the frozen t-shirt trick today and it was a hike changer for sure! Happy Sunday!
