wandering eye wednesday: week twelve

How fun is this flower, right? I recently took this picture while on a trip to a garden in LA, California.  It totally reminds me of Horton Hears A Who or something else Dr. Seuss created! I love how the tips are so shiny, making the flower look like LED lights.  I didn’t change the color at all, just cropped the picture and very slightly sharpened it.  SO much texture in one picture, huh?

As soon as you said Whoville, it reminded me of Truffela trees from the Lorax. 🙂 Good times. Love the quote.

Pardon me, I meant Truffula trees. 😉
