tempe oktoberfest and all things autumn

Hey there! I’m writing this on my lunch hour since my weekend pretty much rocked while simultaneously rocking my to-do list. Wine and cheese night with lovely ladies, Tempe Oktoberfest and Sunday family football day catapulted me into straight-up autumn awesomeness.  The weather was just lovely, and I mean that with absolutely no sarcasmn whatsoever.  Highs in the double digits? Yes, please! Here are some highlights from Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake:

I wasn’t able to format my post like normal, being I’m working on a different device and I’m in a hurry.  So here are photo labels, top to bottom: me and my baby sister, all grown up with a baby of her own; that baby of my sister’s and all her knotted hair cuteness (oh, man, that kid! too much cute in one tiny package); one of the bridges at tempe town lake; and another of the bridges at tempe town lake; my brother and me… i know, you can’t tell we are related at all, right?; banana gun performing at the end of the night – have you heard of them? they’re local and fantastic! click here for their website, and you can listen to one of my favorite tracks “light on” (among others!)

With Halloween just around the corner, I figured I’d throw you a couple links from last year’s Pumpkin Party projects.  Click the photos to get the original posts.

Isn’t it crazy the difference a year of practice with a camera makes? Anyway, we’re in full-on Autumn over here, and it’s always such a refreshing season after the heat of the summer kicks us in the teeth. How is your season starting? Have you had any pumpkin-flavored anything yet? Ugh – time’s up and I’ve got to get back to work.  Fastest hour of the day, am I right? I hope you guys are having a great Monday though, talk to you soon!Blog Signature
